Sales management refers to the management of activities and processes relating to the effective planning, co-ordination, implementation, control and evaluation of an organisation's sales performance. Sales management is a core business process in most organisations.

I have many years of experience in IT sales management both in the UK and overseas. I take on direct sales roles as an independent contractor either on a part-time basis, interim or longer-term contracts.
I am currently VP of International Business for a Dutch AI company called Braincreators, based in Amsterdam. I also undertake regional sales management roles snd country sales director roles.
I am UK based but can travel anywhere, anytime to suit your needs. I can work remotely (preferred) or hybrid, in any time zone you like.
REVENUE AND TARGETS
I focus on getting the best out of your sales teams through clear direction and strategy, specific personal goals, coaching and motivation.
I am used to the US quarterly focus on revenue attainment through solid pipeline development and progression. I spend time with individuals to ensure they are generating enough activity and client contact to deliver successful outcomes in line with revenue goals. This translates into accurate forecasting with action planing around any gaps identified.
SALES IS A PEOPLE BUSINESS
Companies do not win sales - people do! Companies empower the people with the motivation, the tools, the knowledge and the support to do their jobs as effectively as possible. Not all people perform at the same levels at the same time, so it is a fine balancing act to ensure that overall, the outcomes are as expected or better on a consistent basis.
I work with individuals on a 1:1 basis to coach them towards the achievement they and the company wants - everybody gets the same treatment. I work with them together as teams to enhance coherence and unity so they grow into self-sufficiency but always can turn for help.
